We’re seeking talented Casual Chefs and Cooks to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at Q Station.

In this role you will:

Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes across a variety of services, including à la carte, banquets, and catering.
Supporting daily kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards in food safety and hygiene.
Collaborating with the wider Q Station team to deliver unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

Under the guidance of our Executive Chef, this casual opportunity is ideal for passionate and energetic Chefs and Cooks eager to bring their distinctive culinary skills to our multi-outlet venue.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the preparation and service of food.
Execute established cleaning procedures and protocols.
Comply with HACCP regulations to ensure the hygienic and safe preparation of food.
Monitor the quality of the product served, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
Display genuine passion for cuisine.
Effective communication with a diverse team.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff.
Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Excellent time management during preparation and service periods.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Cook in a high-volume restaurant or banqueting venue.
You are highly organised and able to work under pressure.
You demonstrate a clear understanding of culinary trends and customer needs.
An understanding of cost and waste management of all foods.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
High level of personal integrity.
A capable contributor with good attention to detail.
You bring a positive approach to your work a have a calm and composed demeanor.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
