About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to manage and grow a key NSW territory, with a strong focus on the Central Coast and surrounding regions.
This role will suit a motivated sales professional who is based on or near the Central Coast and has experience selling into the building, construction, timber, trade, or building supplies sector.
Reporting directly to the Director, you will take ownership of a regional sales territory covering the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Region, and Mid North Coast, building strong client relationships, developing new business, and managing existing accounts.
This is a field-based role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working autonomously, and driving sales outcomes across a high-potential territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a sales territory across the Central Coast, Hunter, Newcastle, and Mid North Coast
- Develop strong relationships with builders, contractors, trade customers, and construction-related businesses
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts
- Conduct regular client visits, site meetings, and account reviews
- Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales opportunities
- Provide high-level customer service and ongoing support
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and territory growth objectives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven sales experience within building supplies, timber, construction, hardware, trade, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of the Central Coast, Hunter, or surrounding regional NSW market
- Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills
- A proactive, “hunter” mentality with a drive to win new business
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- A results-driven mindset and strong commercial awareness
- Current and valid driver’s licence
Work Environment
- Primarily field-based across the Central Coast and surrounding NSW regions
- Regular travel throughout the Hunter, Newcastle, and Mid North Coast areas
- Work-from-home flexibility when not on the road
- Occasional travel to the Wetherill Park head office
