Civmec is proud to continue our strong partnership with PLS. After successfully delivering major works at the Pilgangoora Operation, we’re now pleased to be awarded the scope to construct a custom dome over the lithium storage facilities. We have immediate-start opportunities for Intermediate & Advanced Riggers on a 2:1 roster running both Day and Night Shift, working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering a major construction project in the Pilbara, WA.

The Role

Steel Erection
Perform dual lifts and mathematical assessment
Assist with lift plans and lifting activities.
Align level and anchor machinery.
Maintain and tag rigging gear as required.
Ensure rigging gear is stored correctly.
Attach appropriately rated rigging gear to existing structures to facilitate the movement of loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoists.
Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Lock them away or return to store when not required.
Perform other general duties as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Current High Risk Rigging licence (RI and RA) and VOC
Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
Current High risk elevating work platform license (EWP) and VOC
Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
Previous experience on construction projects (Steel erection experience preferred)
Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
