Full Job Description

Northfleet are a market leading company in the transport, bus and vehicle hire industry, supplying solutions to customers throughout the Southwest, Perth, Pilbara, and regional Western Australia. We pride ourselves on our fantastic team culture, teamwork and positive work environment.

We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to provide specialised support for our business applications, ensuring systems are running effectively to ensure end-user productivity maximisation. Reporting to the ICT & Systems Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, as well as liaising with vendors, developers and internal stakeholders to maintain and improve the organisation’s ICT application portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2/3 support for core business applications (e.g., Odoo ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, O365, SharePoint).
Investigate and resolve application-related incidents escalated from the ICT Helpdesk.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and apply patches or upgrades.
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions (in-person, virtual, and on-demand) for end-users on IT systems, applications, and processes.
Create and maintain user guides, training manuals, quick reference materials, and video tutorials.
Assess training needs by working closely with business units, identifying knowledge gaps, and tailoring programs to meet user requirements.
Provide onboarding IT training for new employees to ensure smooth system adoption.
Support system integrations and ensure data consistency between applications.
Assist with application configuration, user access management, and permissions.
Work with business units to understand requirements and implement system enhancements.
Document troubleshooting steps, processes, and application-specific user guides.
Participate in testing, quality assurance, and deployment of new applications or upgrades.
Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data security, and governance standards.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in application support, system administration, or a related ICT role.
Strong understanding of business applications (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, or workflow systems).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and cloud-based platforms.
Good knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with non-technical users and vendors.
Ability to manage incidents, requests, and changes within ITIL or similar frameworks.
National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months)

Desirable Requirements

Experience supporting Odoo, SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, or other ERP/CRM systems.
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and troubleshooting.
Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
ITIL Foundation certification or relevant IT qualifications.
Exposure to project work, testing, and system implementation.
