The Role
We are seeking organised, proactive and self-motivated Business Support Officers (BSO) who enjoy working in a busy school environment and take pride in making a real difference behind the scenes. In this role you would ideally be working closely with the Manager Corporate Services and Executive Teams. The suitable applicant would provide high-quality operational and administrative support while contributing as part of a collaborative Corporate Services Team, including school officers, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) staff, library staff, cleaners and gardeners to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the school.
The role supports financial and administrative processes across the school, including payments, relief coordination, payroll support, staff onboarding, record management, and reporting requirements. Business Support Officers may also oversee portfolios such as Facilities, Finance, Human Resources including Relief Coordination, Marketing and Events, Communications, and support the Executive Team in highly confidential matters.
We are seeking applicants who display initiative, sound judgement, strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work both independently, collaboratively and confidentially. Working within a school environment is highly desirable.
