Position Details

We are seeking Permanent Part-Time Disability Support Workers (DDSO1/1Q) to join our team in Wangaratta. This exciting opportunity supports the opening of a new service, scheduled to commence in late September. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives within their community.

About the Role

You will support a diverse range of customers living with physical disabilities.
Provide person-centred support that empowers each client to make choices and maintain independence in their daily lives.
Assist clients with daily living activities both at home and in the community, including personal care, meal preparation and assistance, medication support, and behaviour support.
Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleepover shifts across weekdays and weekends.
Permanent part-time roster lines will range from approximately 25 to 45 hours per fortnight.

You must have or be willing to obtain:

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR
VIC Driver’s licence
International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
