City Venue Management is seeking an experienced and people-focused Venue Manager to lead the operations of Miami Aquatic Centre.

Miami Aquatic Centre is a busy, multi-service facility that includes a large swim school, a fitness centre, aquatic programs and a diverse venue team of approximately 120 employees.

The Venue Manager will lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of Miami Aquatic Centre, ensuring excellence across all areas of the venue including aquatics, swim school, fitness, customer experience, safety, team leadership and commercial performance.
This role requires a strong, visible leader who can build trust, drive accountability, support a positive team culture and deliver exceptional experiences for the local community.
You will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team, maintaining a safe and compliant facility, strengthening community relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow participation, engagement and revenue across the venue.
In this role, you will:

Lead the end-to-end operations of Miami Aquatic Centre, ensuring consistency, compliance and operational excellence across all areas of the venue.

Inspire, coach and develop a large team across aquatics, swim school, fitness, customer service and operations.

Drive a strong safety culture and ensure the venue operates in line with relevant legislation, company standards, policies and procedures.

Oversee the delivery of high-quality aquatic, fitness and community programs.

Champion a customer-first culture and uphold high standards of presentation, service and venue experience.

Monitor key performance indicators and take proactive action to achieve financial, service and participation targets.

Build strong relationships with schools, clubs, local businesses, community groups and key stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for business growth, program improvement and increased community engagement.

Lead workforce planning to ensure the venue is resourced effectively across seasonal and operational demands.

Support and develop emerging leaders within the venue team.
We are looking for a confident and capable leader who is ready to take ownership of a large, fast-paced venue.
You will bring strong leadership experience, ideally within aquatics, leisure, sport and recreation, fitness, or another high-volume customer-focused environment.
You will be someone who can balance people leadership with commercial thinking, operational discipline and genuine care for the community. You do not need to have done this exact role before, but you do need to be ready to lead at a senior venue level.
