Our Service:
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

Role overview:
-
Deliver clinical services assessment, treatment and evaluation and apply clinical protocols including documentation.
-
Active participation within the multi-disciplinary team, the profession specific network and with consumers, families and extended agencies.
-
Participate in mental health education programs, community based services and community groups.
-
Participation in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities.
-
Develop clinical practice knowledge through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.

Provide comprehensive mental health assessment, case management, intervention or group work as required.
Requirements:
-
Must have one of the following: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse OR Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility

Demonstrated highly competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a comprehensive understanding within the continuum of care.

Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as government and other non-government service providers.

Ability to contribute to the professional development of self and others through education, professional networking and application of evidence based practice.

Demonstrating a comprehensive level of profession specific knowledge, expertise and skill.

Excellent verbal and written skills as well as good computer skills.

Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC

Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
