This position is a fantastic opportunity to help maintain, grow & support our team. Efficient, reliable, professional, knowledgeable and passionate chefs with strong communication skills will be well placed within our team. You will play an important role in our kitchen supporting our Head Chef whilst preparing you for your next promotion.

Located on the beautiful Rockingham foreshore, the restaurant is a busy, popular and modern venue open Wednesday - Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes as per restaurant recipes and standards.
Manage a specific section of the kitchen and ensure all food prepared meets quality standards.
Assist in developing new menu items and improving existing ones.
Oversee and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they understand recipes, techniques, and food safety procedures.
Maintain inventory and ensure the station is stocked and prepared for service.
Keep the kitchen area clean and adhere to food hygiene regulations.
Monitor portion control to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Communicate any issues or shortages to management promptly.
