About the Role
We are seeking individuals with a customer service and/or an administration background to join our team at Dandenong, as a District Support Officer.
There are two vacancies currently available, one on a fixed term basis to 29 September 2026 and one on a casual basis.
Key responsibilities of these varied roles may involve:
- Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- General administrative and office support duties.
- District stores and inventory management duties including ordering, stock control, receipting incoming goods, picking and packing outgoing items, labelling and tracking stock movements.
- Manual handling tasks including lifting items greater than 15kg.
- Preparing documents including letters, memos, reports, presentations, minutes and briefing notes.
- Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination.
- Coordinating meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, venue bookings and catering requirements.
- Records administration and data entry.
- Database and systems coordination.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes and coordinate purchasing requirements.
This office-based role is a fantastic opportunity and would suit an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of duties whilst providing exceptional customer service.
About You
The ideal candidate will be hands on and keen to join a small team. You will have a strong commitment to teamwork and be looking for a role within a fast-paced team.
Additional requirements include:
- Motivation and enthusiasm with demonstrated administration experience and excellent attention to detail.
- Efficient computer skills including working knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Word - knowledge of finance applications will be a bonus).
- Experience interacting with people at all levels and be able to work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Adaptability, positive attitude a willingness to learn and a desire to demonstrate your initiative.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills and a proactive and autonomous approach.
