Full Job Description

Café Supervisor – Operations, Bar & Kitchen

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Café Supervisor to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our café.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working across all areas of a café and can confidently lead a team while also jumping in and getting the job done.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the café.
Supervise, support and motivate team members during busy service periods.
Coordinate staff and ensure adequate coverage across the café, bar and kitchen.
Work hands-on across bar, café and kitchen areas as required.
Prepare and serve quality coffee and beverages.
Assist with food preparation, plating and kitchen duties when needed.
Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality and presentation.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety standards are consistently maintained.
Manage opening and closing procedures.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Train and support new team members.
Help maintain an efficient, positive and team-focused workplace.
Ensure company procedures and operational standards are followed.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous café, hospitality or supervisory experience.
Is confident working across coffee/bar, front-of-house and kitchen operations.
Has strong leadership and communication skills.
Can remain calm, organised and professional during busy periods.
Leads by example and is not afraid to be hands-on.
Has excellent customer service skills.
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
Can work independently and make sound decisions when required.
Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
