Café Supervisor – Operations, Bar & Kitchen
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Café Supervisor to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operations of our café.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working across all areas of a café and can confidently lead a team while also jumping in and getting the job done.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the café.
- Supervise, support and motivate team members during busy service periods.
- Coordinate staff and ensure adequate coverage across the café, bar and kitchen.
- Work hands-on across bar, café and kitchen areas as required.
- Prepare and serve quality coffee and beverages.
- Assist with food preparation, plating and kitchen duties when needed.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality and presentation.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety standards are consistently maintained.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Train and support new team members.
- Help maintain an efficient, positive and team-focused workplace.
- Ensure company procedures and operational standards are followed.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous café, hospitality or supervisory experience.
- Is confident working across coffee/bar, front-of-house and kitchen operations.
- Has strong leadership and communication skills.
- Can remain calm, organised and professional during busy periods.
- Leads by example and is not afraid to be hands-on.
- Has excellent customer service skills.
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
- Can work independently and make sound decisions when required.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
