PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT, HOUSEMAN & ROOM ATTENDANT

EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPING PROFESSIONALS WANTED!

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking and experienced Public Area Attendants, Housemen and Room Attendants to join our hospitality team in Cairns City, Queensland.

If you have a great eye for detail, take pride in your work and know what it takes to maintain high hotel standards, we want to hear from you!

MINIMUM 3 MONTHS’ RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This role is suited to people who already have experience in hotel housekeeping, room attendant, public area cleaning or houseman duties and are ready to join a professional team.

YOUR ROLE

You'll be an important part of the housekeeping operation, helping make sure our guests experience a clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel.

Your responsibilities may include:

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms
Cleaning bathrooms to a high standard
Maintaining corridors and public areas
Cleaning lobbies, lifts and hallways
Changing linen and towels
Replenishing guest amenities and supplies
Assisting with linen deliveries
Removing rubbish and keeping work areas clean
Restocking housekeeping supplies
Supporting laundry operations when required
Reporting maintenance issues, damages and safety hazards
Responding to guest requests professionally
Working closely with supervisors and the wider housekeeping team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You must have:

✅ Minimum 3 months' relevant housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience

✅ Good understanding of hotel cleanliness standards

✅ Strong attention to detail

✅ Good communication skills

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

✅ Good time-management skills

✅ Physically capable of manual handling and active duties

✅ Reliable, punctual and well presented

✅ Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

CITIZENSHIP / WORK RIGHTS

Australian citizenship is preferred for this role.
