Permanent Part Time (22.8 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a Pastoral Care Practitioner (Grade 1 or 2) to provide high-quality emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will deliver meaningful, person-centred support that responds to diverse spiritual, cultural, and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialist pastoral care across allocated wards in collaboration with clinical teams
Assess spiritual, emotional, and religious needs and tailor care accordingly.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within patient records.
Participate in an on-call weekend roster

About You

Demonstrated experience in pastoral, spiritual and bereavement care in a healthcare or similar setting
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to person-centred, culturally safe, inclusive care
At least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (essential)
Relevant qualifications in theology, pastoral care, or a related field (desirable)
