About the role

Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADoN) to join its Executive Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, the ADoN is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the designated Directorate, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing and midwifery services.

This key leadership role drives clinical excellence, workforce engagement, and continuous improvement, while supporting the delivery of outcome-focused care aligned with professional standards and organisational priorities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen clinician engagement and contribute to the planning, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing improvement of health services across Tweed Valley Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to influence service delivery, foster a culture of quality and innovation, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
