Empire Land Surveying (VIC) is seeking motivated and reliable Surveyors and Survey Assistants to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who are seeking long-term opportunities and want to succeed in a variety of construction environments throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.
We have the flexibility to offer full-time, part-time and casual positions.

Qualifications & Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- Qualifications and/or experience in Land Surveying.
- Relevant construction industry experience.
- Experience working on Victorian construction projects (desirable but not essential).
- Experience using Leica surveying equipment, AutoCAD, Terramodel or similar software (desirable but not essential).
Surveyor Responsibilities
Surveyors will be responsible for:
- Liaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholders on survey-related matters.
- Undertaking site calculations and set-out from design information.
- Conducting site-based survey fieldwork.
- Reducing, processing, documenting and reporting survey data.
- Delivering project outcomes within required timeframes.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff where required.
Survey Assistant Responsibilities
Survey Assistants will support Surveyors by:
- Assisting with site set-out and survey fieldwork.
- Setting up and maintaining survey equipment.
- Recording and managing field data.
- Supporting project teams to ensure survey work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Performing general survey and site-related duties as required.
