About the role

As an Assessment Officer, you will play an important role in delivering regulatory services that support Queensland's building and construction industry. You will assess a variety of licensing and dispute-related matters, apply relevant legislation and policies, and communicate outcomes clearly and professionally.

Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and determining licensing and dispute applications.
Interpreting legislation, policies, and supporting documentation to inform outcomes.
Identifying potential non-compliance issues and escalating matters where required.
Providing accurate information and guidance to customers and stakeholders.
Maintaining detailed records and ensuring matters are managed efficiently.
Supporting front counter operations when required.
Contributing to service excellence through timely and consistent case management.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve branch objectives.
