Capital SMART is Australia and New Zealand's leading accident repair network, with 60+ sites and industry-leading technology backing every repair. We're looking for a qualified Spray Painter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

You'll work in a modern, fully-equipped spray booth environment, delivering high-quality paint finishes on repaired vehicles — matching colour, achieving the right finish, and making sure every car that leaves the booth is something you're proud of.

What you'll be doing:

Mixing and matching paints to manufacturer specifications using computerised colour matching systems
Applying primers, base coats, and clear coats to repaired panels and full vehicles
Blending and fading paint to achieve seamless colour matches
Inspecting finished paintwork for quality before vehicles move to the detail stage
Working efficiently to production targets without compromising finish quality
Maintaining spray equipment, the booth, and accurate job records

What we're looking for:

Completed trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in a smash repair or refinishing environment
Strong colour matching and blending skills
Ability to work to targets in a high-volume production environment
Detail-oriented with a consistent, high standard of finish
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player
Full working rights in Australia
