EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SPRAY PAINTER WITH STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF VEHICLE PREPARATION, COLOUR MATCHING, REFINISHING, AND PAINT APPLICATION. SKILLED IN DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY FINISHES, FULL RESPRAYS, TOUCH-UPS, AND INSURANCE REPAIR WORK. EXPERIENCED IN SANDING, MASKING, PRIMING, BUFFING, POLISHING, AND USING AUTOMOTIVE PAINT SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT. ABLE TO WORK EFFICIENTLY IN FAST-PACED WORKSHOP ENVIRONMENTS WHILE MAINTAINING HIGH SAFETY AND QUALITY STANDARDS.

SMALL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS LOOKING FOR A FULLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SPRAY PAINTER WHO CAN TAKE OWN INITIATIVE, WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND ALSO WORK WELL AS PART OF A TEAM. MUST HAVE STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL, BE RELIABLE, HARDWORKING, AND TAKE PRIDE IN QUALITY WORKMANSHIP.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Preparing vehicles and panels for paintwork
-Sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation
-Colour matching and paint mixing
-Spray painting vehicles and automotive parts
-Applying base coats, clear coats, and finishes
-Buffing, polishing, and finishing painted surfaces
-Repairing paint defects and imperfections
-Maintaining spray booths and painting equipment
-Following workplace safety and environmental procedures
-Working collaboratively with panel beaters and workshop staff

SKILLS
-Excellent colour matching and blending skills
-Attention to detail and quality workmanship
-Knowledge of automotive paint systems and tools
-Ability to meet deadlines and production targets
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-Reliable and punctual
