Ace Alloy Wheel Repairs is expanding and looking for an experienced Automotive Estimator to join our specialist repair team.
We are an established alloy wheel repair and refinishing workshop with over 30 years of industry experience, working with dealerships, insurance companies and trade customers across Melbourne.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in a full time position. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in managing the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage, coordinating with team members and Insurance Assessors and ensuring estimates are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will help prioritise tasks, maintain workflow and meet delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will require:
- Writing accurate and timely repair estimates.
- Liaising and negotiating with insurance assessors.
- Quoting & ordering parts
- Communicate efficiently with site managers and area manager.
- Ability to finalise, submit and raise invoices and send via the correct platform.
- Audit post repairs, checking parts invoices and mid repair photos also sending supplementaries/variations for assessment.
- Ensuring repairs meet pre-accident condition standards and insurer requirements.
- Proficient in IBodyshop and in the following quoting styles and platforms….NTAR, Audabridge, Audanet, Parts Check.
- Minimum 5 Years experience.
- Trade background as either a Panel Beater or Painter
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Mechanical repairs, automotive refinishing, spray painting or panel industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
- Reliable and motivated team player
- Pride in producing high-quality work
