Lead the next chapter of one of the Perth Hills' most iconic venues.

For more than 120 years, the Parkerville Hotel (affectionately known as The Parky ) has been at the heart of the Perth Hills community. Established in 1902, this heritage-listed venue has long been a gathering place for locals, families, visitors and generations of Hills residents. With its rich history, family-friendly atmosphere, expansive beer garden and reputation as a true community hub, The Parky is much more than a pub – it's a local institution.

Now, an exciting new chapter is about to begin.

With a venue renovation on the horizon, we are seeking an experienced and inspirational Venue Manager to lead The Parky through this transformative period and help shape its future while preserving everything the local community loves about it.

This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of a landmark venue, drive operational excellence, build an exceptional team culture, and leave a lasting legacy on one of Western Australia's most cherished hospitality destinations.

About the Role

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the venue, delivering exceptional guest experiences while fostering strong connections with the local community.

You will play a pivotal role in guiding the venue through its upcoming refurbishment, working closely with operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining strong business performance and team engagement.

You'll be equally comfortable leading a busy Sunday service, building relationships with regulars, coaching your leadership team, analysing financial performance, and helping bring a refreshed vision for The Parky to life.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading all aspects of venue operations across food, beverage and gaming
Driving revenue growth, profitability and operational excellence
Building, mentoring and developing a high-performing leadership team
Maintaining The Parky's reputation as a welcoming destination for locals, families and visitors alike
Creating memorable guest experiences that keep people coming back
Leading the venue through an exciting renovation and relaunch period
Strengthening community engagement and local partnerships
Managing budgets, labour costs, stock control and venue compliance
Ensuring exceptional standards across service, presentation and culture

About You

We're looking for a hospitality leader who understands the unique role that great country and suburban pubs play within their communities.

You'll bring:

Previous experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Operations Leader in a high-volume hospitality venue
Strong commercial acumen and proven financial management skills
Exceptional leadership and people development capability
A passion for community-focused hospitality
Experience leading teams through periods of change and growth
Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management skills
A hands-on leadership style and strong operational presence
A genuine appreciation for heritage venues and local culture
