Your Role

About the Role

Babcock is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our dynamic Defence team supporting Australia’s Defence programs. Based at our facility in Hendeerson WA, you’ll play an essential role in the flow of materials and workshop operations that keep Australia’s defence capabilities mission‑ready.

Your days will be hands‑on and varied - from managing goods receipt and dispatch, handling inventory and ERP transactions, operating forklifts and ensuring the store remains clean and efficient, to supporting our workshop with tasks like sandblasting, painting, ultrasonic cleaning, and much more. You’ll also liaise with local suppliers, manage recycling processes, and help assess inventory usage across critical components.

This is a chance to be part of a high‑performing team working on some of Australia’s most significant Defence programs. If you’re practical, reliable, and ready to contribute to a nationally vital operation — we want to hear from you.

To be successful, you will bring:

Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
Previous experience in a similar role.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations.
Experience using ERP systems in an operational function.
Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
Forklift Licence.
