Senior Dental Assistant – Orthodontics (Permanent Part-Time) Bentleigh. Vic.

3 days per week | Monday, Wednesday & Thursday | ~27 hours

Are you an experienced Dental Assistant ready to fall in love with where you work?
We’re inviting a Senior Dental Assistant to join our brand-new, purpose-built specialist orthodontic practice, designed exclusively for orthodontics and finished with modern, feminine, high-end touches throughout.

This is a permanent part-time role with no late nights or weekends, perfect for someone who values work–life balance while still loving a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.

About the Role

You’ll be an integral part of our orthodontic team, supporting patients throughout their smile journey and delivering an exceptional standard of care. Your responsibilities will include:

Chairside assisting in orthodontic procedures
Preparation of materials and instruments
Management of the brand-new sterilisation room and infection control protocols
Stocking, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
Taking orthodontic records including intra and extra-oral photographs
Intra-oral scanning
Providing clear patient instructions and education on braces, aligners and retainers
Supporting the Oral Health Therapist with oral health education and patient care
Creating a warm, calm and positive experience for every patient

Requirements

Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting
Previous dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience highly regarded but not essential)
