As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Finance Officer with a strong understanding of NDIS financial processes to join our supportive team.

About the Role

This part-time position (30 hours per week) offers flexibility and the potential for increased hours as the organisation continues to expand. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with NDIS financial requirements, and supporting the management team with day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments
Prepare and reconcile NDIS claims and participant statements
Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare regular financial reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
Ensure compliance with NDIS pricing arrangements and financial policies
Assist with payroll and reporting
Liaise with management as required

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (essential)
NDIS sector experience (essential)
Experience using accounting software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills and professional integrity
