Registered Migration Agent (RMA)

Oceanian Migration and Education Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Migration Agent (RMA) to join our team.

We are looking for a professional who can manage client matters confidently, provide accurate migration advice, and deliver a high standard of service throughout the application process.

About the Role

As a Registered Migration Agent, you will assess client circumstances, advise on suitable Australian visa pathways, prepare and manage applications, and ensure matters are handled accurately and efficiently from initial consultation through to outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client consultations and assess eligibility for appropriate Australian visa pathways.
Provide professional and accurate migration advice within the scope of your OMARA registration.
Prepare, review and lodge visa applications and supporting documentation.
Manage client matters from initial assessment through to final outcome.
Prepare written submissions, statements, explanations and supporting documents where required.
Review applications carefully and identify potential issues, inconsistencies or documentary gaps.
Respond to Department of Home Affairs requests and correspondence within required timeframes.
Maintain accurate client records, case files and application deadlines.
Keep clients informed about the progress of their applications.
Stay up to date with Australian migration legislation, policy and Departmental requirements.
Work collaboratively with the wider team, including education and administration staff.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional and regulatory obligations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current OMARA registration as a Registered Migration Agent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Australian migration services.
Practical experience in preparing and managing Australian visa applications.
Good knowledge of Australian migration legislation, policy and application procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple client matters and deadlines.
A professional, ethical and client-focused approach.
The ability to explain complex migration matters clearly and confidently to clients.
The ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively to a team.
