Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our workshop team. This position plays a key role in ensuring all products and workmanship meet company quality standards before dispatch to our customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with production and workshop staff to inspect finished products, identify defects, and help maintain a high standard of quality across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of fabricated and assembled products.
- Verify products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and quality issues.
- Complete inspection records and quality documentation.
- Work with workshop personnel to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or workshop inspection role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with quality documentation and reporting.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or related industries preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
