About your role
As an Advanced Allied Health Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting Allied Health professionals to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients across Bayside Health Service.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver advanced delegated clinical interventions for patients with complex needs.
Assist with therapy programs, patient mobility, manual handling and personal care.
Coordinate and supervise Allied Health Assistants across multiple sites.
Monitor, maintain and manage clinical equipment, therapy resources and stock.
Educate patients and groups on approved therapy programs and health topics.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
About you
You are a motivated Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
You will bring:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent).
Experience providing advanced delegated clinical interventions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
Ability to coordinate workloads and support other Allied Health Assistants.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Commitment to person-centred, culturally safe care.
Current C Class driver's licence and flexibility to participate in weekend and public holiday rosters.

About the Bayside Health Service Allied Health Team
The Bayside Allied Health Team work across Redland Hospital, Redlands Satellite Health Centre, Wynnum Manly Community Health Service Centre and Pandanus Unit. Bayside Allied Health Assistants support a multi-disciplinary team: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and the Eat Walk Engage Program.
This position is rotational and may be required to work throughout Bayside Health Service and the position's primary work location may change based on operational requirements. This position may be required to provide Allied Health Assistant services on weekends and public holidays at Redland Hospital on a rotational or roster basis
