The Role
This Brisbane-based role supports Dyno Nobel sites across Australia and is responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace health hazards to protect employee wellbeing and ensure regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Manager Health and Hygiene, you will provide technical advice on occupational exposure risks including chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards while supporting monitoring programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll work in a highly mobile role, regularly travelling to operational sites to conduct monitoring and partner with teams to improve health risk outcomes.
Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring including dust, noise, heat and vibration
Set up, calibrate and maintain monitoring equipment
Collect exposure samples and prepare monitoring reports
Perform respiratory and hearing protection fit testing
Build relationships with site teams and HSE stakeholders
Coach employees and leaders on health hazards and risk controls
What you’ll bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Health Science or related field
Knowledge of workplace health risk assessment and exposure monitoring
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to analyse data and provide practical recommendations
Willingness to travel regularly across operational sites
