Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant – Barrett Street Dental, Bracken Ridge

Barrett Street Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team in Bracken Ridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and clinical support, and is looking for a long-term position within a modern, family-focused dental practice.

About the Role

This is a dual role combining front desk reception and chairside dental assisting. You will play a key part in creating a positive patient experience while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Your Responsibilities

Reception Duties

Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Managing appointments, recalls, and the daily schedule.
Handling phone enquiries and patient communications.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records.
Assisting with administrative tasks and practice coordination.

Dental Assisting Duties

Chairside assistance for a variety of dental procedures.
Preparing treatment rooms and instruments.
Maintaining infection control standards.
Sterilisation and instrument processing.
Assisting with stock management and clinical workflow.
