The Role
We are looking for an Inventory Assistant to join our warehouse team, working from our brand new Support Office Warehouse in Coomera . Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm , this role plays a critical part in ensuring our inventory is accurate, organised, and efficiently managed. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receipting inbound stock, investigating discrepancies, supporting stock movement throughout the warehouse, and contributing to continuous process improvements.
Working closely with our Warehouse Leadership Team, Fulfilment Team and Purchasing Team, you will help maintain inventory integrity while ensuring products are stored, rotated, replenished, and accurately recorded within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receipt inbound stock from suppliers into the warehouse
- Coordinate and support outbound stock movements
- Process inventory transactions, stock adjustments, and maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances
- Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate inventory adjustments where required
- Monitor inventory movements and escalate stock shortages or inventory issues where appropriate
- Manage warehouse stock locations to support efficient product movement, picking efficiency and warehouse utilisation
- Support new product onboarding, product location changes, and obsolete stock management
- Maintain stock storage standards, stock rotation, and shelf replenishment processes
- Support stocktakes, scheduled inventory counts, and inventory reconciliation activities
- Assist with inventory-related issues including short supply, damaged, expired, obsolete and quarantined stock
- Ensure inventory documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company procedures
- Analyse inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and warehouse efficiency
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Fulfilment and Purchasing teams to investigate inventory enquiries and implement process improvements
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, following all Health, Safety and Compliance procedures
Wear required PPE and complete hazard and incident reporting as required

About You

- Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics or stock management experience preferred
- Experience with inventory receipting, stock reconciliation and inventory control
- Knowledge of inventory management methods and techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Well organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Reliable, accountable and team focused
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships across teams and with suppliers
- Results-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software and databases
- Current Forklift (LF) Licence preferred
