Femme Physiotherapy and Wellness is growing, and we are looking for a part-time Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health Physiotherapist to join our team.
Femme Physiotherapy and Wellness is a women’s health, musculoskeletal and dance physiotherapy practice located in Southport on the Gold Coast.
We provide physiotherapy, health and wellness support to women through every life stage — from teenagers, pregnancy and postpartum through to perimenopause, menopause and beyond. We also support dancers and gymnasts from young children through to amateur and professional performers, as well as managing a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries in the general population.
At Femme, we are passionate about educating and empowering our clients to better understand their bodies, move with confidence and create proactive change for their future. Alongside clinical care, we also provide educational workshops in women’s health, dance physiotherapy and injury prevention.
We specialise in women’s health and dance physiotherapy, while also supporting a broad range of musculoskeletal concerns. We are looking for a physiotherapist who aligns with this vision and is excited to grow within these areas.
This role would suit a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with experience in women’s health, or a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who is passionate about furthering their education and skillset in women’s health.
The role and offerings
- Part-time physiotherapy role
- Southport location
- Scheduled mentorship in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, dance physiotherapy and women’s health (pending if employee or contract)
- CPD allowance pro rata per year (pending on if employee or contract)
- Support to grow within women’s health and dance physiotherapy
- Opportunity to be involved in educational workshops for women’s health, dance schools and community events
- Supportive clinic environment with a strong focus on education, empowerment and long-term patient outcomes
Criteria
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- AHPRA registration
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Minimum 1 year of musculoskeletal private practice experience
- Strong musculoskeletal assessment and treatment skills
- Experience or interest in women’s health physiotherapy
- Completed APA Level 1 Women’s Health and confident with internal examinations, or willing to work towards this
- Current First Aid and CPR qualification
- Working with Children Check and/or Blue Card
- Ability to work in Australia as a physiotherapist
