About the Project
Citation Group’s strategic Salesforce transformation programme is all about consolidating and modernising core customer, sales, contract, billing, service, reporting and operational capabilities across our five business units. Kicking off in June 2026, this is a two-year programme involving complex process, data, integration, vendor and change management challenges.
This is not a passive coordination role. As our Salesforce Project Manager, you’ll be the client-side delivery lead - an informed owner of the platform working alongside an implementation partner, our internal technology team, and executive stakeholders in both Australia and the UK.
What will you be responsible for?
This role sits within our Technology function and reports to our Head of Salesforce Platform & Architecture, with visibility to UK executive sponsors and the Programme Steering Committee.
Your key activities in this role will be:
- Owning the integrated delivery plan - milestones, sequencing, dependencies, and critical decision points
- Holding the implementation partner to account; validating progress against evidence, output quality, and agreed milestones - and pushing back confidently where needed
- Managing scope and change control, assessing every change for cost, schedule, quality, and risk impact before sign-off
- Running delivery governance including RAID management, steering inputs, status reporting, and escalation pathways up to UK executive level
- Collaborating with the blended internal delivery team - BAs, developers, administrators, data analysts, testers, and change managers
- Driving go-live readiness: cutover planning, training coordination, hypercare, and BAU transition
Our ideal candidate?
We’re on the hunt for a disciplined, commercially sharp delivery leader who drives pace without losing control of scope, quality or cost - and who has the nerve to challenge a partner when the evidence doesn’t stack up.
You’ll bring:
- Proven project management experience delivering Salesforce or comparable enterprise CRM/platform implementations - ideally from the client side
- Strong experience managing external implementation partners across concurrent workstreams, with a track record of holding vendors to commercial and quality commitments
- Sharp financial and commercial acumen - you own the budget, forecast it, and track it against contracted deliverables
- The communication range to operate credibly with executives, delivery leads, technical contributors, and business SMEs across AU and UK
- Working competency with AI tools to support planning, reporting, and delivery productivity
- Energy and adaptability - you’ve thrived in a fast-paced, scaling environment, not just a large institutional one
Bonus points for: PRINCE2, PMP or agile credentials; familiarity with Salesforce Einstein or Agentforce; Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) experience
