We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical projects on-site in Perth, Western Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

About the role:

Assist with planning & resourcing.
Assist in the creation of detailed work packs.
Lead electrical construction activities.
Inspect work progress regularly to identify any potential issues or safety hazards.
Manage JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses) for related tasks.
Supervise a team of electricians on-site to ensure work is being completed according to project specifications.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Ensure the accurate and timely markup and compilation of drawings.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
Leadership abilities to manage a team of electricians
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the project
Qualifications:

Diploma or Trade Certificate in a relevant electrical discipline
Unrestricted WA Electrical License (Essential)
Certificate IV in Instrumentation (Preferred)
Supervisor Section 44 or Schedule 26 Training
White Card
Valid WA Driver’s License

Experience:

Demonstrated six or more years’ relevant experience within the resources sector;
Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role
Experience with construction, isolation processes, inspecting, testing and commissioning
Experience with managing and supervising teams and subcontractors
Strong leadership skills
