About the Role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator for an on-site position supporting a project in Moorebank, Sydney. Our team is delivering a highly specialized project involving the demolition and construction of new ultra-low temperature facilities, and this role will be vital in supporting the project’s day-to-day operations and building strong, trusted client relationships. The role will be required on site Monday - Friday, with occasional paid Saturdays, through to project completion (anticipated 4-5 months).

Have a basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Are familiar with site application of construction management, safety, environmental & quality management tools & processes
- Have an understanding of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice, and environmental legislation
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
- Are highly detailed, organised and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Have a positive, proactive approach to keeping things moving
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

Assist the project team in day-to-day site operations
- Coordinate site logistics, including managing permits, arranging delivery of materials and onboarding of subcontractors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, subcontractors, and the SBP Australia team
- Prepare and participate in site meetings, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Monitor site works daily, implement corrective actions for HSEQ compliance
- Facilitate new worker inductions and maintain accurate records
- Support project compliance to site-specific management plans
- Provide reports to the project team as required
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

General Construction Industry Card (required)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- 1-2 years in a site-based similar role (preferred)
- Diploma or higher in Construction Management or equivalent (preferred)
