Full Job Description

Are you passionate about building cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced environment? Do you thrive on solving complex challenges and delivering scalable systems? I am looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a global technology firm and work on a new Greenfield project build.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our client. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems that power critical capital markets operations. Leveraging your expertise in Node.js , Kafka , AWS , and AWS Lambda , you will play a pivotal role in building resilient and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js .
Implement robust data streaming solutions with Apache Kafka .
Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Participate in architectural decisions to support business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
Proficiency in Node.js , including experience with building APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
Strong expertise in AWS , particularly AWS Lambda , S3, and other cloud-native services.
Familiarity with capital markets, trading systems, or financial applications is a strong plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
