Senior Software Engineer to join our client. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems that power critical capital markets operations. Leveraging your expertise in
Node.js ,
Kafka ,
AWS , and
AWS Lambda , you will play a pivotal role in building resilient and scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js .
- Implement robust data streaming solutions with Apache Kafka .
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in architectural decisions to support business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js , including experience with building APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Strong expertise in AWS , particularly AWS Lambda , S3, and other cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with capital markets, trading systems, or financial applications is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
