We are looking for bold, creative interns to join our 12-week Vacation Program and help solve the big issues affecting our planet. We are making progress to reduce the impacts of climate change by adopting innovative ways of working.

You will gain real-world experience in line with your university studies and kick-start your future career opportunities. You’ll be given full support from experienced Water Corporation professionals, our current Graduates, and your peers in other disciplines. You will become part of the next generation of Water Industry professionals with structured development and a variety of experiences through your internship.
Our Program will run from late November 2026 until mid-February 2027. We pay our Vacation Students a base annual salary of $65,936 (plus super), pro rata over the 3 months you are working with us.

You are based in WA
-
You have unrestricted Australian work rights
-
You have a genuine interest in water or wastewater treatment (any exposure or experience is highly regarded)

You are motivated to learn, collaborate, and build a meaningful career in the water industry
-
You are in your penultimate year of university and due to graduate in 2027 in one of the following disciplines:
-
Civil Engineering
-
Chemical / Process Engineering
-
Electrical Engineering (including Mechatronics, Control Systems, or Electronics)

Environmental Engineering
-
Mechanical Engineering
-
Data Science (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Analytics)
Please note: Candidates studying a three‑year Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) degree are not eligible for the Engineering disciplines within this program.
