The Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-driven and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team in a 12-month fixed term contract. Based at our Support Office in Eagle Farm and reporting to our Financial Controller, this role plays a key part in delivering meaningful financial insights that support operational performance across the business.
In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide timely reporting, analysis and recommendations that drive performance against key financial and operational KPIs. You’ll also contribute to improving processes, enhancing reporting tools and supporting key projects that enable better business decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering daily, weekly and periodic sales reporting, providing actionable insights to support business performance
- Reconciling sales data and maintaining data integrity across systems
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and quarterly store target processes
- Assisting with inventory reporting to identify risks and opportunities
- Contributing to monthly Board reporting and ad hoc financial analysis
- Developing and enhancing dashboards (including Power BI) to improve visibility and decision-making
- Supporting business case development for new stores and strategic initiatives
- Partnering with operational teams to provide commercial insights and recommendations
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance and reporting functions
What we’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You’re commercially curious, enjoy solving problems and have a strong ability to translate data into meaningful insights that drive outcomes.
You’ll bring:
- Degree qualification in Accounting or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial finance role
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong data analysis capability
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience in retail or multi-site environments (highly regarded)
- Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI (advantageous)
