What you’ll do
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Finance Manager - Store Delivery to join Primary Connect, the end-to-end supply chain partner within Woolworths Group. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key business partner to the Head of Store Delivery, working closely with state transport teams as well as business unit finance and commercial teams. Your core mission will be to provide critical decision support, analytical insights, and financial leadership to optimize our extensive store delivery network. By driving financial visibility and process efficiencies, you will directly impact the supply chain performance that supports millions of customers nationwide.

Lead and mentor a high-performing team, providing coaching and support to Transport Business Analysts and the Freight Settlement Administration team.

Manage and execute accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for Store Delivery costs, focusing deeply on key drivers and actionable insights

Collaborate with cross-functional business partners and state transport teams to align financial strategies with overarching business objectives.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation by initiating, tracking, and managing performance initiatives that deliver measurable results.

Evaluate complex business cases impacting Store Delivery and provide strategic commentary, risk assessment, and resource management recommendations.

Optimise the Freight Settlement administration space by leading process improvements and delivering timely analytical support for network solutions.
What you’ll bring

Demonstrated expertise in analytical and conceptual finance, with a proven track record in financial variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing, coaching, and developing direct and indirect reports in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence complex relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Deep industry knowledge, ideally possessing a strong understanding of transport, logistics, or large-scale supply chain operations.

Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide strategic decision support and clear financial advice to senior leadership teams.
