Consultant GP Obstetrician (or Specialist Obstetrician) - Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time | Beautiful Regional SA Location

Indicative Total Remuneration: MD2 $367,340 - $715,819 p.a (pro rata)

Are you an experienced GP Obstetrician or Specialist Obstetrician seeking a meaningful, well-supported role in a collaborative, close-knit hospital environment?

We’re working with a respected regional health service just a short drive from Adelaide, situated in a charming town known for its heritage character, excellent schools, and welcoming community.

This role offers a chance to make a genuine impact in a well-resourced public hospital, where the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department plays a central role in community healthcare delivery. You’ll work within a modern, purpose-built maternity unit, joining a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care.

About the Role:

As a Consultant GP Obstetrician (or Specialist Obstetrician), you’ll be part of the department’s medical leadership team. You’ll help shape the future of maternity and gynaecology care for the region through clinical excellence, mentorship, and innovation.

Key responsibilities:

Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynaecology services.
Support the clinical development of junior doctors and the broader multidisciplinary team.
Lead and participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Ensure the department meets ongoing accreditation and safety standards.
