About The Role

Reporting to the Area Manager and based at our Rockhampton site, you will take ownership of a defined territory, managing and growing key customer accounts while driving new business opportunities across the residential, commercial and heavy civil sectors.

What you will be doing:

Manage and grow key customer accounts across your defined territory.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial and heavy civil sectors.
Build strong, long-term relationships with resellers and end-use customers.
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and identify opportunities to grow market share.
Work closely with the Area Manager and wider team to drive sales performance and business growth.
Manage your territory autonomously, including regular customer visits and occasional overnight travel.

What you will bring:

Proven experience in account management, business development or B2B sales.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying and converting sales opportunities.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Confidence working autonomously and managing a defined sales territory.
Experience within construction, building products, steel or related industries will be highly regarded.
