About The Opportunity
As the Administration Support Officer - Contractor Escorts you will provide administrative support and coordinate contractor access within a secure correctional environment, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and organisational procedures. The role supports maintenance operations through accurate record-keeping, data management, and cross-functional administrative assistance, while demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and adaptability
Your Key Impact Areas
- Escort contractors on-site in accordance with all security requirements, ensuring compliance with correctional centre protocols.
- Coordinate contractor access and movements to support maintenance and operational activities.
- Monitor contractor activities and report any safety, security, or compliance risks promptly.
- Assist with the engagement and coordination of subcontractors for planned maintenance works.
- Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Facilities and Maintenance function.
- Maintain effective office systems, including document control, filing, and information retrieval processes.
- Manage incoming enquiries and ensure timely responses, escalation, or redirection as required.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and associated logistics, including preparation and distribution of minutes.
- Collect, validate, and maintain accurate data and departmental records.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports to support operational and management requirements.
- Ensure records are complete, accurate, and compliant with audit and reporting standards.
- Provide administrative support across departments as required, ensuring continuity of operations.

About You
Essential:
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and work within established guidelines, particularly in environments requiring safety, security, and compliance.
- Basic administrative skills, including data entry, record keeping, and general office support, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to respond to enquiries and interact professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage routine tasks, meet deadlines, and support day-to-day operations.
