We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional Centre Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cranbourne and Clyde North centres.
About the Role
As Centre Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of both centres. You will be the primary point of contact for parents, students, and tutors while maintaining high standards of customer service, administration, student support, and operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, tutoring, administration, or customer service who enjoys working with families and supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Student & Parent Support
- Welcome students and parents upon arrival
- Manage attendance and follow up student absences
- Respond to parent enquiries and provide ongoing support
- Follow up trial students and assist with enrolments
- Ensure students have a positive and supportive learning experience
Centre Operations
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of both centres
- Prepare and organise worksheets, homework, and learning resources
- Maintain accurate student records and administrative systems
- Assist with classroom setup and centre presentation
- Monitor class numbers and student allocations
Tutor Support & Quality Assurance
- Support tutors with resources and classroom management
- Ensure student work is marked and recorded appropriately
- Monitor lesson delivery standards and provide feedback where required
- Ensure tutors follow centre policies and procedures
Administration & Enrolments
- Manage enrolments, trial bookings, and student records
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Follow up prospective families and maintain enrolment pipelines
- Assist with parent communication and student retention initiatives
Accounts & Business Support
- Monitor fee payments and outstanding accounts
- Follow up overdue fees professionally and respectfully
- Maintain accurate payment records
- Support management with reporting, promotions, referral programs, and centre events
- Assist with initiatives that improve student experience and business growth
Essential Requirements
- Completed Year 12 (VCE) in Australia
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Mathematics and English Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Professional and confident manner when dealing with parents, students, and staff
- Strong administration and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Current Working With Children Check (mandatory)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to travel between Cranbourne and Clyde North centres
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the centres
- Available to work afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
Highly Desirable
- ATAR of 85+
- Previous tutoring experience in Mathematics and/or English
- Previous experience in administration, tutoring, education, customer service, or centre coordination
- Experience working with school-aged students and families
- Understanding of the Victorian education system
- Experience using student management or CRM systems
- Currently studying or completed a Bachelor of Education, Teaching, Science, Arts, Commerce, or a related degree
