Physiotherapist – Private Practice (NDIS, SAH & Community-Based Caseload)
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our growing private practice team. This role offers a diverse and rewarding caseload across clinic-based, contracted medical centres, and community/home visit settings, working with NDIS, SAH, and private clients. The role is primary based in south east melbourne.
About the Role
This position involves providing high-quality physiotherapy services across a varied client base, including:
- Private practice clinic consultations
- Scheduled visits to contracted medical centres
- Community-based and home visits for NDIS and SAH clients
- Functional rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and mobility support
- Collaborative care with GPs, specialists, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and functional retraining
- Manage a mixed caseload including NDIS participants, SAH clients, and private patients
- Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across community and medical settings
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical reasoning and interest in musculoskeletal and community-based rehabilitation
- Experience or interest in NDIS and community physiotherapy (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work independently in community settings
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required
