$64.14/hr + Super on all rostered hours | 7/7 D/N Roster

Build Your Future with MacKellar MacKellar is seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to join our team at the Carmichael Mine in Queensland's Galilee Basin. This is an opportunity to secure a permanent role on a long-term mining project while operating a modern fleet in a supportive and safety-driven environment.

If you're an experienced production operator with strong Dozer and Haul Truck skills, plus experience on additional mining equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Your New

Role As part of our production mining team, you'll operate a range of heavy mining equipment to support daily production targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating Dozers and Haul Trucks within a production mining environment
Utilising additional skills across equipment such as Graders, Water Carts, Excavators or Loaders
Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects
Following mine plans, production schedules and site procedures
Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow operators
Maintaining safe work practices and contributing to team performance

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven production mining experience operating Dozers and Haul Trucks
Experience operating at least one additional production machine
Current Standard 11 certification
Current manual Driver's Licence
Current RII competencies or VOCs issued within the past 5 years
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence
Ability to work effectively within a high-performing production crew
