Full Job Description

Senior Technical Lead

Role: Senior Technical Lead — Design and Discovery Lead

Work Location: Geelong, Australia ( must go to office 2-3 days in a week) Duration: 7+ months

Start date: ASAP

About the Role

The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for successfully designing and leading the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions. They are both a big-picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver, with knowledge that is both broad and deep. Solutions are built for the long term and scale with the customer's growth plans.

Your Impact

● Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations

● Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform

● Lead cross-functional and technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between current and desired end states

● Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects

● Define coding standards; lead code reviews to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns

● Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements

● Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations

● Lead discovery sessions and POC development as needed

Required Qualifications

● 10+ years of CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform

● Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite mainly Public Sector Solutions

● Proven hands-on development experience integrating disparate systems using Apex and OmniStudio (e.g. particularly Integration Procedures, OmniScripts)

● Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions

● Experience estimating Salesforce development efforts for complex integrated solutions

● Knowledge of key design patterns, large data volume limitations, and best practices

● Understanding of data sharing, visibility, and platform authentication (SAML, SSO, OAuth)

● Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies

● Experience with platform security (TLS, SSL)

● Strong background in design/development of large web-based systems or full software product lifecycle exposure

Preferred Qualifications

● Certified OmniStudio Consultant | OmniStudio Developer

● Certified Application Architect | System Architect

Pay: $70.00 – $100.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Geelong VIC 3220
