An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and organised Project Assistant to join the newly established Integrity and Quality Assurance Unit.
Reporting to the Senior Integrity and Quality Assurance Officer, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that contributes to integrity, quality assurance, governance and risk management initiatives across Legal Aid WA.
The Integrity and Quality Assurance Unit has been established to support a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement. As a Project Assistant, you will provide administrative, project and coordination support to a range of initiatives designed to strengthen organisational integrity, enhance governance processes, improve service quality and support effective risk management.
Working alongside colleagues across the Unit, you will assist with project activities, reporting, record-keeping and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful organisational outcomes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and proactive professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and information management capabilities, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and a keen eye for detail.
You will be able to manage competing priorities, work independently, and demonstrate initiative while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. A strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, teamwork, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality service to a diverse range of stakeholders is essential.
