Human Resource Generalist

Job Responsibilities

Develop and produce accurate HR metrics for monthly management meetings
Maintain headcount report, organisational charts, turnover registers, grievance register
Maintain accurate employee data on company’s HRIS
Prepare new employee contracts, welcome packs and induction compliance documents
Coordinate and facilitate Onboarding program for new employees
Coordinate annual Performance Review Process
Coordinate annual Goals Process
Assist HR Manager with Training needs analysis
Arrange and monitor employee Training as required
Compliance Administrator duties
Workers Compensation administration compliance duties
Facilitate compensation and benefit plans
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

Job Requirements

Tertiary Human Resources Qualifications
Min 3+ years’ experience in similar role
Experience in corporate environment (preferred)
Understanding of human resources policies and procedures
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity in researching and resolving problems
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Demonstrate capacity to work to deadlines, schedules and guidelines, with attention to detail
Ability to work without supervision, and as part of a team
Flexibility in responding to the overall needs of the business
Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation knowledge
Sound Employment, Safety and Payroll legislation knowledge and the ability to learn in this space
