We’re seeking a qualified
Social Worker to lead and deliver high-quality, child-focused early intervention services as part of our CAFS Program. You’ll work with families facing complex challenges, supporting children and young people aged 0–17 across the Northern Sydney/Northern Beaches region.
This is a dynamic opportunity to grow your leadership skills, mentor a social work student, and contribute to a values-driven team making a real difference in the community. The role is a permanent full-time position, based in our offices at Brookvale with flexibility for applicants seeking part-time hours (4 days per week). We provide flexible work options after successful completion of the 6-month probation period.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver trauma-informed case management and early intervention support to families.
- Supervise and mentor a social work student.
- Conduct needs-based assessments and develop tailored case plans.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with internal and external services.
- Advocate for clients across housing, legal, and welfare systems.
- Provide outreach support and maintain accurate case documentation.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and mitigate risk.
- Facilitate evidenced–based parenting groups.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (essential).
- 3–4+ years’ experience in Casework.
- Experience supervising or mentoring Social Work students (desirable).
- Strong understanding of trauma, mental health, AOD, and DV issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle.
