We are seeking a Talent Management and Diversity Manager for a Part Time (4 days), 12 month fixed term period to cover parental leave. This valued role is responsible for executing Boral’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and supporting the building of people capability across the organisation.
This standalone role sits within the Talent and Capability team, supports the Head of RTO and partners closely with the wider People and Culture team, and business to execute the primary Diversity and Inclusion actions and coordinate Talent Management activities as required.
Your day will involve:
- Partner with the business and wider People & Culture (P & C) function to define new opportunities to support the retention of women and new starters
- Identify roles for re-design with greater flexibility to attract women
- Review Gender Dashboards and metrics quarterly, define key insights and support People and Culture Business Partners to drive targeted action
- Partner with the wider P&C function and business to schedule and coordinate a rollout plan for Boral’s Inclusive Leadership program and execute associated logistics
- Participate in quarterly Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group meetings, support National Reconciliation and NAIDOC Week, and International Women’s Day (IWD) activities and identify opportunities for increasing awareness and engagement to support RAP and D&I initiatives, and share learnings with wider Boral community
- Create awareness and action plan of key tools and resources to support D&I across Boral including partnering with the business to build a L&D plan for First Nations employees
- Facilitate lunch and learn sessions for leaders for the Recruitment Skills for Leaders program as well as for Leaders and Employees on Development Planning
- Support and develop facilitator guides for Development Planning conversations and leadership programs as required
- Support the business with Performance Review requirements including analysing data metrics and provide insights to drive action.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in Diversity and Inclusion, People and Culture or Learning and Development roles as well as leading a portfolio or projects supporting Diversity and Inclusion
- Demonstrated experience in partnering, influencing and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders across large, complex organisations
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (iOracle preferred) and data metric systems or dashboards
- Presentation, project management and facilitation skills
- Any qualifications in Human Resources will be highly regarded.
